Disabled employees
A disabled person is not automatically incapable of working or partially capable of working.
There is no clear legal definition of disability as defined in the Non-Discrimination Act. Disabled persons are those who have a long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairment that limits their full and effective participation in working life on an equal basis with others. Disability may be congenital, or it may result from, for example, an accident or mishap. Disability may also be the result of a chronic illness.
